At first, this on-location session was a disaster. The stretched two-inch deep canvas refused to fit on my travel easel and, due to the persistent wind, duct tape became the only option. The precise planning required over a year of observation. I waited for a cloudy day in November. In the end, all of the struggles and planning were rewarded tenfold.
