18″x24″, acrylic on board, framed in 1″ dark walnut, Limited Edition Prints Available
This painting is based on a dream. As always, Griselda and Poundcake face whatever comes… together. I read somewhere that in dreams, water symbolizes the unconscious, the unknown, and the imagery of the collective consciousness. In this scenario, the oak tree is the anchor in the house of memory. The walls are open at both ends, providing access to limitless space, as wind pushes the water up the stairs. Mud and debris accumulate on the landing.
This painting is all about endurance, holding on, and supporting each other. The tree is the key.
